Will Lovelett, Owner

Will is a native Charlottean and grew up in the Dilworth neighborhood, attending Sedgefield Middle School and Myers Park High School. After attending the University of Georgia (go dawgs!), Will moved back to Charlotte and purchased his first home, a fixer upper in the Wilmore neighborhood. Some might say this is where his love of real estate and construction really started to take shape, but Will has always been handy and has a true passion for learning. Even as a young boy, he saved his money to buy a dirt bike, only to take it apart and learn how to put it back together. This fascination naturally extended to the construction and real estate business, where his father built his career. Will spent nearly 10 years in the corporate world, spending all this spare time and weekends doing what he loves most: buying and fixing up houses. After completing his MBA at the Wake Forest School of Business and obtaining his real estate license, Will made the full time jump out of the corporate world and into Dilworth Construction in 2019. A skilled craftsman, he’s building upon the foundation his father started in 1988 and working to make Dilworth Construction Charlotte’s premier home improvement provider.

*Will currently owns, lives in, and is renovating the historic Atherton Mills House. Be sure to check out our page on its rich history and historical significance to the area!

Sneaky, Head of Happiness and Morale

Part-time construction dog, full-time cutie. Sneaky takes her role very seriously. There’s no such thing as a bad day with this pup around. Growing up around the sights and sounds of construction, nothing phases this outgoing and friendly pup! While most doggies are afraid of the vacuum, this one enjoys an occasional snooze in the shade of the table saw. Other interests include playing fetch with her ball on land, playing fetch with sticks in the lake, barking for more pets and attention, following Will around like his shadow, and riding in the truck with the wind in her ears. She’s always walking around Dilworth and playing on the soccer fields, so if you see her, come say hi and give her a pet. You’re guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face!
